How to move a window in Windows 7

If you are missing the move command to move windows in Windows 7, this would help you.

Use case: I've ATI HD5870 Eyefinity 6 setup and 3 monitors attached to it. When my work load is low, I only keep the center monitor on and side two monitors turned off, but some windows appear on those monitors from time to time as they remember their last positions. It is a bit annoying to turn on the side monitors just to bring them on the main screen. In past till Windows XP, I used to right click on the application in taskbar and select move command, but that is gone in Windows 7, so below is the tip to do it.

Window 7:
  1. Select Application Window that you want to move in task bar.
  2. Press Alt + Space
  3. Press M key
  4. Now move your mouse to bring it in the monitor where you want it
  5. Left click to drop it
Windows XP:
  1. Select Application Window that you want to move in task bar.
  2. Right click and select "move" command
  3. Now left click and hold and move your mouse to bring it in the monitor where you want it
  4. Left click to drop it
