How to Shutdown Windows Computer via Remote Desktop Connection (RDP)

In RDP session, shutdown is not available in start menu, which gets replaced by "disconnect" command. To really get the shutdown/restart/Standby and hibernate commands do following:

Works on Windows XP, Vista and Win7

1. Select Desktop by left clicking on empty desktop area
2. Press Alt + F4
3. Shutdown dialog would pop up with following options:
1. Shut down
2. Restart
3. Stand by
4. Hibernate
4. Select one of these options and click ok.
